audience feedback

Walkers were invited to feast their ears on voices from Worcester in a mix of poetic drama, soundscape and music as they took a walk in the city. Two contrasting routes, each lasting just 30 minutes, from The Commandery accompanied by a guide.

She was artistic director of Bradford's Theatre in the Mill from 1995 - 1998 and programme director of SCRIPT (the West Midlands development agency for playwrights) from 2001 - 2004. In 2005 she was co-creator of Walk With Me - a series of audio walks in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham. She is currently making audio drama for Radio 4 as producer for BBC Radio Drama and has developed a number of creative audio projects with young people most recently at Birmingham Rep and with postgraduate writing students at Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2005 she was co-creator of Walk With Me - a series of audio walks in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham.

Charlotte Goodwin – Writer

Charlotte has written various pieces for BBC Radio 4, 'Come Midnight' for Fierce Festival Birmingham, 'Fiddle Fable' for Ludlow Assembly Rooms as well as receiving a Creative Ambitions Award from West Midlands Arts to develop 'A Girl In Europe'. She has recently acted as a mentor on Typ-Tap – writing festival at Midland Arts Centre, Birmingham and she last worked alongside Kate Chapman in 2005 when they produced 'Walk With Me'.

Nina West – Composer

It started in 1991 when Nina took some singing lessons and started writing and performing her own songs. This was followed by a sound engineering course when she took control of the plugs and wires and found the thing she liked best of all was constructing sounds with synthesisers. Nina formed a band with Jane Webster, which emerged as Satellite Pocket Radio. In 2003 Nina did a performance art piece with Jane, 'The Kitchen Sank' which was a homage to British kitchen sink drama/cinema of the late fifties/early sixties. The piece was performed at 'Hip Replacement' - a monthly multimedia event run at the time by Manchester alternative music legend Edward Barton. Nina was then asked to collaborate with the experimental theatre company Stan's Café. She has been composing music for this company since 1996 and her most recent work with them is The Cleansing of Constance Brown, which went on tour this year. In 2005 Nina wrote music for the interactive project 'Walk With Me', a sound-piece about the life of an urban park, with dialogue by Kate Chapman and Charlotte Goodwin. Nina formed a new electric song-based duo with Andy Watson in 2006 and their forthcoming EP is called 'Underpass'. Since 2000 Nina has also continued to produce solo work, including an album of songs called 'Music for Imagined Scenes'. Forthcoming and ongoing work includes Hip a Drome - an EP of solo songs and new scores to The Cabinet of Dr Calligari, and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
